The 4th PRSE “Center for Advanced Magnetics” Workshop was successfully held in the Grey Rock Room in Lory Student Center on May 30, 2018. The workshop had about 45 participants. The program included 10 talks from students and post-doctoral research fellows in the Center and 4 invited talks given by Stuart Field (CSU Physics), Barry Zink (DU), Hans Nembach (NIST), and Karen Livesey (UCCS). Four of the presenters from the Center were selected to receive the Best Presentation Awards. The awardees were Jinjun Ding, Jewels Fallon, Josh Lauzier, and Eve Mozur. The 5th PRSE “Center for Advanced Magnetics” Workshop will be held in January 2019.
